The compilation of major art collections in museums plays a significant role in determining how our history of modern art is written. It is therefore important that the finest Dutch artists from the 20th Century and onwards, are represented in these collections.

Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen (Royal Museum for Fair Arts Antwerp) has acquired two paintings by Co Westerik with the support of Dutch Art Works. As from December 1st, 2008, Temps Variables and Hevig Buitengebeuren (Vigorous Outside Events) are on show in the museum.
